14 Jan 6th International E-Mobility Charging Infrastructure Europe Conference
EIfI-Tech will be present at the in the 6th International Conference on E-Mobility Charging Infrastructure Europe 2020 from 31 March – 2 April 2020 in Berlin, Germany. The international annual conference connects manufacturers (OEMs), utilities, research, non-profit organisations and governmental bodies with the goal of developing a sustainable e-mobility ecosystem in Europe. The event will also address the latest developments, challenges and opportunities of charging infrastructure in Europe in an interactive way, in addition to practical case studies on the implementation of new business models and technologies.
Director of EIfI-Tech, Chris Ashe, will serve on a keynote panel on the e-mobility landscape, strategic collaborations and customer needs at the international event. Specifically, this keynote panel will address the following issues:
- Promotion of an EU-wide “open grid system”, with electrons flowing freely between countries.
- A “bottom-up revolution”, changing the E-mobility landscape from the local level upwards.
- What are the customer needs and how are they changing because of Electric Vehicles? Making the charging experience smooth and convenient for the end customer though unified RFID cards, access and payments.
EIfI-Tech will also be in attendance of the conference on behalf of the Interreg NWE CleanMobilEnergy (CME) project. The CME project, running from 2017 to 2021, with a potential project extension, integrates renewable energy sources, storage devices, electric vehicles and optimisation of energy consumption through an intelligent Energy Management System (iEMS), in four pilot cities of Arnhem, Nottingham, London and Schwäbisch Gmünd.
