04 Jan Project Steering Group Meetings continue to be held online amidst Covid-19 pandemic
Even with the Covid-19 pandemic bringing a halt to all travel for EIfI-Tech projects and meetings since March 2020, project progress has not slowed by any means. Steering Group Meetings normally held in person now take place entire online. EIfI-Tech, who takes the lead for communication and dissemination on numerous European projects, has pivoted by participating in webinars and engaging partners and stakeholders virtually.
As an illustration, the Housing 4.0 Energy (H4.0E) Steering Group Meeting, was held online last month in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. The international consortium convened over two separate days to discuss project management, pilot updates, long-term project rollout and project communication; updates were given via presentations and workshops. Main points within these themes to be discussed include the presentation of the H4.0E Guidebook for the construction industry, the H4.0E Ambassadors programme, the introduction of a new partner and equipment specifications and additional requirements for the pilot sites.
In order to keep the meeting engaging and effective, breakout sessions were held to address in-depth project monitoring, the H4.0E Trainings development, findings within the H4.0E business models (TU Delft) and the H4.0E Digital Platform. Within these breakout sessions, partners were given a live demonstration of the H4.0E online trainings, which are offered to the H4.0E digital platform users through comprehensive, user-friendly modules.
The two-day Steering Group Meeting came to a close with a “digital drink“, or an informal session to end the intensive discussions in a light-hearted and uplifting way.
